Weekly Winners July 20-26

I've gotten out of the habit of posting my Project 365 photos here, but today I visited Sarcastic Mom's website and saw her Weekly Winners post. She is an awesome photographer, stop by & check her photos out. I'm not such a good photographer but I'm working on it. These are my favorite photos from this week.

Thursday was the Allosaurs' birthday. They had banana muffins for their party. This is what happens when you run out of muffins at a dino party.

    Hahahahaha, I'm actually laughing out loud, for real, at the whole dinosaur party. That's awesome and fun. And the butterfly, um, WOW! These are great, and I hope you keep doing Weekly Winners because I'd love to see more.

    I just love the dino photos. And I am particularly impressed with the butterfly shot. If it were me, by the time I ran in the house, got my camera and was ready to take the photo the butterfly would have been gone! Happy comment carnival, I am visiting from MBC.

    Oh.......I am dying here. That Dino party was fecking hysterical, honestly, I swear, (well, I just did, actually) It totally appeals to my sense of humour. The shot of Mr T-Rex timeout is a classic, he's actually still tantruming, right?

    Aren't Dads the best at playing? I love the pic playing pillow volcano. So much joy there.

    The dino party was a hoot!! Love the butterfly one~so pretty! The one of Dad & kids & the pillow volcano was neat! That same scene happens alot in my house as well being that we have 2 boys ;)

I thought I was too late to sign up for it because I was a couple days behind on reading Mel’s blog, but then she contacted me and asked if I could do a post about punctuation. Punctuation? Yes. Weekly Winners Aug 24-30

Mayhem decided to take up knitting this week. He found he had plenty of time to knit in the car while we ran errands Oops! Dropped a stitch The dinosaurs were very busy the other afternoon. Once again they requested muffins and they pitched in to make them. Though there was some conflict over who got to stir. Rumors of muffins attracted other dinosaurs And there was some more conflict over control of the bowl The winners circle the bowl in a victory dance But they shouldn't celebrate too soon, because over on the kitchen table trouble is brewing. A month or so ago I cleaned out my freezer . Yesterday I cleaned my refrigerator. This is a different thing than just cleaning it out. Cleaning it out mostly involves taking most of the food off of the shelves, sorting it and putting the good stuff back. Maybe wiping up some visible spills. But not getting behind or under things or dealing with the bottles on the door. Cleaning it involves taking all the food out, all the bins out, plus disassembling the shelves and scrubbing them & the inside of the fridge all clean. This happens as rarely as the freezer cleaning for much the same reasons – it’s cold, my hands cramp up from the scrubbing and the solid yet still gel like substances that accumulate in dark forgotten corners are a PITA to get clean. Plus the heavy tempered glass shelves are too big to fit in the kitchen sink and have to be washed in the bathtub. Which means I then I have to wash the bathtub. And mop.
