    Love these! In the first one, love the hair, love the journaling, love the layout! Okay, so I love it all. I also really like "sweet." Nice to see flowers and bright colors on a boy page. Finally, the 11 things layout if very eye-catching; the design highlights everything in a pleasing way.

    Great pages love the "Sweet" page - great journalling and a fab title - want to try that (text within text) sometime.  The 11 things is fun too - though by the looks of your journalling it may not be working as a project - funky page design though!

    As a project, it needs help, but I'm working on it.  The 'sweet' is word art from Darcy Baldwin at Sweet Shoppe Designs.  I love the idea but Paint Shop Pro makes text within text a bit too challenging for me

    It was for a challenge where they wanted you to use arrows pointing to things in a numbered list & I thought it went well with a recent post topic

My weekly winners this week are all taken from my Project 365-Boys Play that I have been working on this year. We decided to paint the boys' room this week. Word must have gone out about it because while DH & I were moving the furniture around, these guys showed up: Contractorsaurs.  They had their own equipment so we hired them but soon there problems. They seemed to have issues with the spackle   I'm fairly certain some child labor laws were being broken   That doesn't look like painters' tape to me   Watching paint dry. Is 18 months a long time?

We bought the mini van 18 months ago. It’s a 2006 & currently has about 48,000 miles or so on it. This week I have to take it in for the first real repairs it has needed. The brake rotors need milled or something. They stutter when you hit the brakes, the brakes still work just fine but you can feel the stuttering in an alarming “Good God the brakes are going to fail sooner rather than later” sort of way. Though I am told if it takes me 9 months to get the job done mostly I’ll just need new rotors & the brakes themselves will continue to work. But nevertheless it is alarming. I was told that about 3 months ago & for various reasons have been putting it off. The dealership, who told me I needed the milling, quoted me a price that seemed really high to DH who once had rotors milled back in the 20th century.
